What
Does Being an Internet DJ consist of?
- You will have to be willing to
dedicate 3 hours on the days and time slots that
you
choose to be here and ready to run your show.
- Communicate! If you have a pre-planned event
happening and you won't be able to make your showtime.
You
will want to let one of the other staff members know so we can arrange
a Fill -IN DJ.
- You will have to be willing to download and use
Skype which is a free program requiring a microphone/headset, as we use
this
program to communicate, amongst the rest of the team, meetings etc.
- There are tools that will help you in this task
that we will provide, free of charge, once you have been accepted on
the team.
- Need to have good communication skills, and
the willingness to work with others as a TEAM Member.
- Need to have the ability to NOT retaliate if
spoken to by anyone in sites that we go into, if they are rude or
difficult.
- Encouraging your community, friends, and family to
come and listen to the station.
- Support ALL DJS by listening in!
Obligations
- Willingness to be there when DJs are live at least
15 Minutes Before show starts and stay unless unavoidable
(any
meetings or appointments and of course any emgergencies that arise are
understood as we realise that life happens.) :) Also, we realise that
you need time off and may not be able to devote unlimited
time to
this.
- Commitment and responsibility to be there if you say
that you will be there.
- To make the team aware of any problems that arise
any site and if you try to handle it, let us know what you did to
handle it so we keep the entire team informed so that another team
member does not enter that site blind.
- When we have scheduled meetings, its imparitive
that you attend, as this is your chance to be heard and your opinions
voiced, remember you're a part of a TEAM and are valued!
